ACC Limited has issued a notice to shareholders regarding the transfer of equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) as per Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013 and IEPF Authority Rules, 2016.
This transfer is applicable to shares for which dividends have remained unpaid or unclaimed for seven consecutive years or more, commencing from the dividend paid for the financial year 2017 onwards.
Shareholders are requested to claim their unpaid/unclaimed dividends by submitting an application to the company or its Registrar and Share Transfer Agent, KFin Technologies Limited, by 20th June 2025.
Failure to claim by the specified deadline will result in the transfer of the underlying shares to the IEPF Demat Account.
Even after transfer to IEPF, shareholders can claim both the unclaimed dividend amounts and the shares from the IEPF Authority by making an online application in Form IEPF-5.
Claims for dividends declared by the company after Interim Dividend, 2017 should be made with the company, while claims for dividends already transferred to IEPF Authority (up to Interim Dividend, 2017) should be made to the IEPF Authority.
