Ambuja Cements Limited acquired 5,34,19,567 equity shares of Orient Cement Limited, constituting 26% of the share capital.
The acquisition was made pursuant to an open offer to the eligible public shareholders of Orient Cement as per SEBI (SAST) Regulations.
Following the acquisition, Ambuja Cements Limited's shareholding in Orient Cement stands at 46.66%.
The total promoter and promoter group holding in Orient Cement is now 72.66%.
Public shareholding in Orient Cement is now 27.34%.
The acquisition date was June 18, 2025, with shares acquired at ₹395.40 per share.
