Indus Towers Limited will acquire 26% equity stake in JSW Green Energy Eight Limited.
The acquisition will be on a fully diluted basis.
JSW Green Energy Eight Limited is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for renewable energy procurement from a Solar PV plant.
The procurement will be under Captive mode, as per the Electricity Act, 2003 and related rules.
The cost of acquisition is approximately ₹38.04 Crore in cash.
The acquisition aligns with Indus Towers' renewable energy objectives and Net Zero goals.
JSW Green Energy Eight Limited was incorporated on 18th October 2024 and is involved in power generation and supply.
Indicative time period for completion of the acquisition is by July 2026, subject to regulatory approvals for the power plant.
