Management Comment: The company stated that the "decrease in the revenue from operations and reduction in profits is mainly on account of lower crushing owing to lower availability of the raw material (sugarcane) on account of deficit rainfall and pest attack."
Furthermore, due to inadequate overall sugarcane availability in the Company's Command area, only the Kattur Unit was operated for the Sugar season 2024-2025, instead of both units (Kattur & Sathamangalam) at optimum level.
The company also noted that as "Sugar being a seasonal Industry, the performance of any quarter may not be representative of the annual performance of the Company."
The Statutory Auditors, M/s. P. Chandrasekar LLP, have issued an Audit Report with an unmodified opinion on the audited financial results for the year ended March 31, 2025.
