Laxmi Organic Industries Limited has provided an update on its ongoing litigation against Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL):

• The Writ Petition (L) No. 14504 of 2025, filed by the company before the Hon'ble Bombay High Court challenging the continued levy of Wheeling Charges, Wheeling Losses, and Transmission Charges and Losses by MSEDCL, has been dismissed. The company has been granted liberty to approach the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) for appropriate relief and has accordingly filed a Petition before MERC, registered as Case No. 137/AD/2025.
• The Special Leave Petition (SLP) (Dairy No: 61237 of 2024), filed by MSEDCL before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India challenging the Final Order dated October 24, 2024, passed by the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL), is currently pending, with no hearing date fixed as of June 16, 2025.
