India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC) has announced the appointment of Ms. Mugdha Sinha, IAS (RJ:99), as the new Managing Director.

• Ms. Sinha's appointment was approved by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) and communicated by the Ministry of Tourism via an Office Memorandum dated 28.04.2025.
• She has assumed charge of the post of Managing Director today, 28.04.2025.
• She holds the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
• Prior to this appointment, Ms. Sinha served as Director General (Tourism) in the Ministry of Tourism.
• Following her appointment, the composition of the ITDC Board is now: Ms. Mugdha Sinha (Managing Director), Sh. Lokesh Kumar Agarwal (Director Finance), Sh. Rajesh Rana (Director Commercial & Marketing), Ms. Ranjana Chopra, IAS (Government Nominee Director), and Dr. Manan Kaushal (Independent Director).
• Ms. Sinha brings 26 years of experience in public policy and international trade negotiations. Her previous roles include Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Managing Director of Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO), and Managing Director of Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), Rajasthan. As Director General of Jawahar Kala Kendra, she conceptualized Astro Night Sky Tourism.
• She is an alumna of Lady Shri Ram College, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and University of California, Berkeley, USA, and has received multiple accolades.
• Ms. Sinha has confirmed that she is not debarred from holding the office of Director by any SEBI or other authority order.
• She is not related to any other Director or Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company and holds Nil equity shares in ITDC.
