NMDC Limited announced its provisional iron ore production and sales figures for May 2025 and cumulative figures up to May 2025 for the financial year 2025-26:

• Monthly Performance (May 2025):
  • Total iron ore production for May 2025 stood at 44.3 lakh tonnes, significantly increasing from 23.4 lakh tonnes in May 2024.
  • Total iron ore sales for May 2025 reached 43.4 lakh tonnes, up from 28.2 lakh tonnes in May 2024.
• Cumulative Performance (Upto May 2025):
  • Cumulative iron ore production up to May 2025 was 84.3 lakh tonnes, higher than 58.2 lakh tonnes recorded up to May 2024.
  • Cumulative iron ore sales up to May 2025 were 79.4 lakh tonnes, compared to 63.5 lakh tonnes up to May 2024.
