REC Limited appoints Jitendra Srivastava as CMD

Shri Jitendra Srivastava, IAS (2000 batch), has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of REC Limited, effective April 22, 2025.
The appointment, conveyed by the Ministry of Power, Government of India, is in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
Shri Srivastava assumed charge on April 22, 2025.
Prior to this, he was serving as Joint Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti.
With Shri Srivastava's appointment, Smt. Parminder Chopra ceased to be CMD of REC Limited (additional charge) from April 22, 2025.
