Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) announced the following:

• Incorporation of indirect wholly-owned subsidiary: Motherson Global Investments B.V., a step-down wholly-owned subsidiary of SAMIL, has incorporated Global Tech Machinery FZ-LLC in Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone, United Arab Emirates on 27 Mar 25. GTMF will engage in fabrication and assembly of components and equipment for precision devices and equipment across various industries. The entire share capital (100%) of GTMF will be held by Motherson Global.
• Penalty Order: The Income Tax Department issued a penalty order for erstwhile Samvardhana Motherson International Limited for the financial year 2019-20, amounting to ₹6,11,65,180. The order was dated 26 Mar 25 and downloaded on 27 Mar 25. SAMIL had filed an application under the Vivad se Vishwas Scheme 2024 (VSV), which was accepted, making the penalty not leviable. SAMIL may file an appeal.
