Sterlite Technologies Limited (STLTECH) was levied a fine of ₹5,000 by the National Stock Exchange (NSE) for delayed compliance with Regulation 23(9) of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The delay pertained to the submission of financial results in XBRL mode on the NEAPS portal.
The company clarified that the submission on the BSE portal was completed within the statutory timeline on May 16, 2025.
However, the filing on the NEAPS portal was delayed until May 19, 2025, due to technical issues on the NEAPS portal, which were outside the company's control.
The Board of Directors, in their meeting on July 25, 2025, reviewed the matter and noted that the delay was solely due to these technical issues.
The Board advised the management to inform stock exchanges via email on the same day if similar technical issues arise in the future to prevent compliance delays.
Sterlite Technologies Limited has filed a waiver application on July 4, 2025, and is awaiting a decision from NSE.
