Unichem Laboratories Limited (UNICHEMLAB) announced the completion of Phase I capacity expansion at its API plant in Pithampur on 20 Mar 25. The expansion adds 210 KL to the existing capacity of 259.5 KL. The current capacity utilization is approximately 70%. The company invested approximately ₹200 crores for this expansion, which was financed through internal accruals and bank borrowings. The increased API production will primarily be used for captive purposes.
