Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL) has invested ₹249.99 Crore in the equity shares of Aditya Birla Housing Finance Limited (ABHFL) on a rights basis.
ABHFL remains a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABCL.
The investment aims to fund ABHFL's growth and improve its leverage ratio.
The equity shares were allotted on 30 May 2025.

Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCAPITAL) announced on 21 May 2025, that it will conduct a postal ballot to seek shareholder approval for several key special businesses. The company is seeking approval for:

Appointment of Mr. Nagesh Pinge as an Independent Director for a term of five consecutive years, effective from 01 April 2025.
Appointment of Mr. Sunil Srivastav as an Independent Director for a term of five consecutive years, effective from 01 April 2025.
Increase in the company's borrowing limits to not exceed ₹ 1,65,000 Crore (Rupees One Lakh Sixty-Five Thousand Crore Only) at any point in time, pursuant to Section 180 (1) (c) of the Companies Act, 2013.
Creation of charge/security on the company’s assets with respect to borrowings, ensuring the outstanding amount of debt at any point of time does not exceed ₹ 1,65,000 Crore (Rupees One Lakh Sixty-Five Thousand Crore Only), pursuant to Section 180 (1) (a) of the Companies Act, 2013.
Issuance of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis, with specific limits for different types of NCDs:
- Secured Debentures/bonds: up to ₹ 95,000 Crore (Rupees Ninety-Five Thousand Crore Only).
- Unsecured Debentures qualifying as Tier II (sub-debt): up to ₹ 10,000 Crore (Rupees Ten Thousand Crore Only).
- Unsecured Debentures qualifying as Tier I (perpetual debt instruments): up to ₹ 3,000 Crore (Rupees Three Thousand Crore Only).
- Unsecured Debentures/bonds (senior to perpetual/sub-debt): up to ₹ 5,000 Crore (Rupees Five Thousand Crore Only).
- Secured Unlisted Debentures/bonds: up to ₹ 10,000 Crore (Rupees Ten Thousand Crore Only).
- Secured/Unsecured Debentures/bonds (masala bonds): up to ₹ 3,000 Crore (Rupees Three Thousand Crore Only).

The postal ballot notice has been sent to eligible members electronically, whose names appeared in the Register of Members/Beneficial Owners as on Friday, 16 May 2025, which is the cut-off date. The remote e-voting period will commence from 9:00 a.m. (IST) on Thursday, 22 May 2025, and conclude at 5:00 p.m. (IST) on Friday, 20 June 2025. The results of the postal ballot are expected to be announced on or before 5:00 p.m. (IST) on Tuesday, 24 June 2025. KFin Technologies Limited has been engaged to provide the remote e-voting facility, and Mr. Omkar Dindorkar has been appointed as the Scrutinizer for the process.
