Avenue Supermarts Limited has appointed Ms. Rita Teaotia as an Additional Director in the capacity of an Independent Director. The appointment, effective from 20th June 2025 for a term of three years (until 19th June 2028), is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
Ms. Teaotia's career spans 40 years, including roles in the Indian Administrative Service, with experience in health, rural development, women and child development, and the energy sector.
She has also served as Commerce Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Chairperson of the Food Safety & Standards Authority of India.

Avenue Supermarts Limited (DMART) announced that its Board of Directors, in a meeting held on 3rd May, 2025, based on the Audit Committee's recommendation, has approved the appointment of M/s Rathi & Associates, a firm of Practicing Company Secretaries, as the Secretarial Auditors of the Company.

The appointment is for a term of 5 (five) consecutive years, commencing from 1st April, 2025, until 31st March, 2030.

This appointment is subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company.

M/s Rathi & Associates is a Peer Reviewed Firm (Unique Identification No. P1988MH011900) established in 1988, with over three decades of experience catering to corporate secretarial requirements of various companies.

Avenue Supermarts Limited (DMART) announced its audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ended 31st March, 2025.

Consolidated Results (Year Ended Mar 31, 2025 vs Mar 31, 2024):
- Revenue from operations stood at ₹59,358.05 crore, up from ₹50,788.83 crore.
- Net profit after tax was ₹2,707.45 crore, compared to ₹2,535.61 crore.
- Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) was ₹41.61, against ₹38.99.
Consolidated Results (Quarter Ended Mar 31, 2025 vs Mar 31, 2024):
- Revenue from operations was ₹14,871.86 crore, up from ₹12,726.55 crore.
- Net profit after tax was ₹550.79 crore, compared to ₹563.14 crore (a decrease).
- Basic EPS was ₹8.47, against ₹8.66.
Standalone Results (Year Ended Mar 31, 2025 vs Mar 31, 2024):
- Revenue from operations was ₹57,789.81 crore, up from ₹49,532.95 crore.
- Net profit after tax was ₹2,927.18 crore, compared to ₹2,694.92 crore.
- Basic EPS was ₹44.98, against ₹41.43.
Standalone Results (Quarter Ended Mar 31, 2025 vs Mar 31, 2024):
- Revenue from operations was ₹14,462.39 crore, up from ₹12,393.46 crore.
- Net profit after tax was ₹619.71 crore, compared to ₹604.20 crore.
- Basic EPS was ₹9.52, against ₹9.28.
The Board of Directors approved the results at their meeting held on 3rd May, 2025.
The Auditors have issued an unmodified opinion on the financial results.
During the quarter ended 31st March, 2025, the Company received additional GST demands of ₹18.76 crore. The company plans to file appeals and, based on expert advice, considers this a contingent liability with no provision made.
