• The box office in FY25 was impacted by an uneven release calendar, leading to a 9% decline in overall gross box office revenue. Hindi box office dropped 26%, and Hollywood revenues fell 28%.
• Hindi-dubbed films saw a significant 153% surge.
• The company focused on strategic priorities including curated re-releases (adding 7.1 million footfalls, ₹124 crore gross ticket sales) and value initiatives like Cinema Lovers Days, National Cinema Day, and Blockbuster Tuesdays.
• Disciplined cost optimization efforts resulted in ₹57 crore savings in Rent and CAM. Total fixed costs per screen grew at a CAGR of just 0.8% over FY20-FY25.
• 72 screens were closed and 77 new ones were opened during the year. The current screen portfolio stands at 1,743 screens across 352 cinemas in 111 cities.
• PVR INOX is transitioning to a Capital-Light Growth model, with 2 management-operated cinemas recently opened and 23 cinemas (101 screens) signed under this model for the next 12-24 months.
• Net Debt reduced by ₹4,782 million over the past 24 months (post-merger), from ₹14,304 million on 31 March 2023 to ₹9,522 million on 31 March 2025.

PVR INOX announced on 2 May 2025 the opening of its first Director’s Cut luxury cinema at DLF Mall of India, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, under its luxury arm —The Luxury Collection.

Key details:

• The new cinema features 5 screens with a total capacity of 215 guests.
• Equipped with cutting-edge technology including 4K laser projection, 7.1 Dolby surround sound, and next-gen 3D.
• Auditoriums have plush leather recliners for comfort.
• It is the first multiplex in North India and the first national multiplex chain to feature Harkness Hugo-SR screens, specifically engineered for laser projection with built-in speckle reduction.
• The venue offers a gourmet menu curated by MasterChefs, personalized concierge service, and a lounge with artisanal food and beverages.
• This launch is a collaboration with DLF.

With this opening, PVR INOX now operates 1,743 screens across 352 properties in 111 cities (India and Sri Lanka). In Noida, PVR INOX now has 27 screens across 2 properties, and in Northern India, 473 screens across 99 properties.

PVR INOX Limited announced the opening of two new multiplexes on April 25, 2025:

• A 6-screen multiplex at Elan Miracle, Sector 84, Gurugram, Haryana.
• A 5-screen multiplex at Zora - The Mall, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

The Gurugram cinema is equipped with state-of-the-art 2K projection, Dolby 7.1 surround sound, and Next Gen 3D, featuring 762 seats including 67 recliners and debuting the brand's first 'Cine Café'.

The Raipur multiplex, developed under the FOCO model, features 978 seats including a Luxe auditorium and four Mainstream screens. It is equipped with BARCO 4K Laser Projection, Dolby ATMOS, and Next Gen 3D, marking Chhattisgarh’s first PVR INOX Luxe property.

With these openings, PVR INOX now operates 1,734 screens across 351 properties in 110 cities (India and Sri Lanka).
